Unit 7 Research Assignment, which you will see
shown in Genesis as “Unit 7 Test.” This assignment will have equal weighting to the Unit 6 Test that was completed prior to Spring Break. I am providing you with information on the assignment so you can follow up with Meghana and ensure she is on track to submit the work on time. Students who are completing this assignment rather than working to prepare for the AP exam will have time in each class through 5/5 to work, so she has a full two weeks to get it done.

2. Review the unit topics and related textbook modules we studied this year:

3. Prepare a presentation that relates topics from AT LEAST THREE (3) SEPARATE UNITS to why studying
macroeconomics is important. Include SPECIFIC EXAMPLES and demonstrate with AT LEAST ONE (1) GRAPH.
4. The assignment is due by the end of the day on May 5. Students should be prepared to present the
assignment in the first class following the due date. Grading will be done per the attached rubric document.
Students may be working on the same topics as someone else, but this is an individual assignment. Each student is expected to submit his/her own work and to present on his/her own. Students have the option to do a live oral presentation, or they may prepare their presentation as a video that will be played during class. Meghana has selected to research information related to Unit 3 (Modules 16-21); Unit 4 (Modules 22-23 & 25-29); and Unit 5 (Modules 37-40). Presentations for her class are scheduled for Monday, May 9.
