You will read three poems and write a four page essay. Use the essay template file to know what is required. Again, what direction you want to focus on, is entirely up to you. You need to be able to go beyond just reading the stories once and remembering what they are about; you have to gain some insight and unique perspective about the story, the characters, the setting, the incidents, etc. Focus on a subject, topics, issues, or problems as they exist in one or all of the stories, then decide what you want your reader to learn, know, and explore from your interpretation of the story.
