be causing the company’s poor performance.
Several store managers suggested a lack of formal onboarding, training,
and development programs are the primary causes of these issues. However, a few members of the Executive Team questioned
if the time and money necessary for these programs will achieve the desired
return on investment. Your manager, the
CEO, requested that you conduct research on the benefits of an employee
training/development program and present your findings to the Executive Team. To acknowledge the concerns of time and
money, your manager believes the company should move to an online training and
development program.
