What are the harms of the power structure of patriarchy, what will incite a shif
What are the harms of the power structure of patriarchy, what will incite a shift away from this system, and what system will replace it?
“Patriarchy” is defined as power relationships that give men power over women and place a higher value on the masculine side of the gender spectrum. This harmful and overarching power structure continues to be perpetuated in modern society on a global scale due to its institutionalization. Though efforts to dismantle this power structure have persisted for over a century, they are small chinks in the armor of an embedded framework.
As feminism, neoliberalism, and social progress rise to new heights, the call for change is the loudest it has ever been. Will this change continue to come at a painstakingly slow rate, or are we nearing a positive tipping point in the equalization of power dynamics?
