In a hypothetical outbreak of Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease the number of cases reported during February and March 2022 were reported in Table 1 and 2 below. Using CDC’s Epicurve Excel Spreadsheet construct the Epi curve and answer the following items:

  1. Describe the type of curve and interpret the curve.
  2. Determine the incubation period and justify it using the curve.
  3. Determine the Epi curve based on relevant factors using Table 2. (For this example, use the columns labeled confirmed, probable and possible cases for the age specific information).
