Week 1 Discussion – Corporate Stakeholders

• Click here to select a company from the Approved Company List.  You will research and write about this company throughout the course.   
• Using the company you selected, reference Exhibit 1B in your textbook and identify a prominent or influential stakeholder associated with it from column one.  While a stakeholder can be an individual, for this discussion, do not choose the CEO, executive leader, or board member. Then, describe one way this stakeholder group has impacted the company in the past 12 months, and if you believe the action or actions were good for the company.  Explain why or why not. 
• Support your response by integrating source evidence using SWS-style citations.  Note:  The textbook can be used as a source reference.
• Be sure to respond to at least one of your classmates’ posts.
