Topic: Career Reflection and Trajectory
Task Details: You are required to reflect on their current career trajectory, personal strength, areas for growth and how ownerships of one’s career can be enhanced. This assessment test self-awareness and strategic thinking.
Structure of the reflection report:
1. Current Career Landscape: Where are you currently in your career? Discuss your
achievements, challenges and current space of your professional journey.
2. Ownership in Career Development: What does “career ownerships” means to you? How have you already demonstrated ownership in your career? What actions have you taken (or not taken) to own your career development?
3. Future Aspiration to participate in digital economy: Where do you want your career to go? Discuss your long term and how do you plan to take ownership in achieving them?
4. Skills Development: Identify the key skills or competencies that you need to develop or
enhance in order to take more ownerships of your career.
Submission requirements details:
Individual Assessment. Word limit: 2500 words ($10%) (excluding reference list). You need
to state the word count of the assessment on the cover page. The review should be
professionally presented using proper headings and sub-headings, in Arial 10pt or Times
New Roman 12pt, single space. Harvard (Anglia) style referencing. Minimum 6 (six
references) are required. Submission deadline Week 5 – Sunday by 11.59pm. Softcopy to
be uploaded on Turnitin via Moodle links.
