Throughout the semester, you will learn about diverse global problems that affect people throughout the world. Given what you have learned in this course, reflect on the idea of global citizenship. What does this mean to you? What makes you a global citizen? Why is the concept of global citizenship so important today? Be sure to discuss the specific examples from our class discussions to illustrate your points. Quality—not length—matters, but I expect your paper to be at least three pages and double spaced. Do not use someone else’s definition of global citizenship, no doubt available online, in your discussion. The purpose of this assignment is to examine the depth of your thoughts on and insights into specific problems we discuss in class.
Problems discussed in class:
Human Trafficking
Educational Access
Division of Labor
Internatioal DIvision of Labor
LGBTQ Struggle in the World
Religious Identity and Terrorism
The Rise of ISIS and Syrian
