This project will give you the opportunity to analyze cultural practices, and use critical reading and observational strategies to interpret the neighborhood where you live. You will write an analysis describing the various facets you observe in the greater context of societal and institutional influence.
You will reflect upon the following questions:
• Is is close-knit?
• Does it have centrality and balance?
• How is it changing? What are the most and least rewarding parts of living where do?
• Is it becoming more of a neighborhood or less so? What might be some of the factors contributing to the changes?
• Are you involved in any efforts to bring about and/or shape change?
You will write a paper minimum of ten pages, excluding cover and references, 12 font, times new roman, APA format.
