The Mission Statement will need to contain a Mission Statement (a brief statement that describes what the organization does) as well as a history of the organization, where it is located, how it has changed over time, and some of its greatest accomplishments to date. (No more than 1 page)
You will also begin your work on the second section, the “Statement of Need”. In this section, you are reaching out to show your value to those that can provide additional funding to help your organization provide additional services via their funding.
You will want to effectively communicate the organizations value as well as provide hard data/statistics around what your nonprofit does, who it serves, and why it is important to the community. (2 pages)
Use APA formatting and be sure to include a reference page.
