The Introduction Speech is to give your audience an understanding of who you are. Please select three aspects of your identity (OR you can pick 2-3 objects that represent you and explain how these objects represent you). This speech is to be 2-3 minutes in length.
1. Prepare a 2-3 minute speech to give your audience an understanding of who you are. Please select 2-3 aspects of your identity (OR you can pick 2-3 objects that represent you and explain how these objects represent you as an individual).
2. Use 3 facts/ aspects of your identity from the Worksheet we filled out in class. OR…
3. You could show objects representing who you are and relate to you personally.
A. Objects can be used to represent your background, personality, values, ambitions, etc.
B. Examples of things you can show: photographs (you can present these on the projector if you want), personal journals, the Bible, athletic gear, name tag from work, movie, or book.
4. You will turn in a complete outline before you present your speech. It should be typed in complete sentences and include everything you plan to say. Your outline should be at least 1 ½ pages single-spaced.
