A consultant sells small to medium size businesses the idea that incorporating analytics and the Internet of Things (IoT) to help to better their organization. By incorporating point of sale system that are directly tied to their inventory system and they would set a thresholds on when to replenish inventory by setting up inventory threshold levels (i.e a small restaurant stock of x lbs of chicken would make y number of chicken dishes). As all aspects are connected to IoT, after threshold is reached all real time statics would provide the best price at that time and could order for the best price automatically or at the proprietor’s discretion.
