10 points: the poster states their opinion of the issue; makes an argument in support of their opinion; uses some examples/facts to support position, uses reasoning and critical thinking to support their opinion. Does not address each question/s presented.
5 points: the poster states their opinion of the issue; makes an argument in support of their opinion. Does not address each question presented.
3 points: the poster states their opinion of the issue. Does not address each question presented.
Reply Posts: In your reply post, ask questions, support the authors position with additional evidence, or challenge the author with a solid argument supported with evidence.
5 points: Uses reasoning and critical thinking, and not emotion to reply to others posting. Does not post more than a simply sentence agreeing with the authors post. Supports their position with facts/evidence.
3 points: states opinion, but response is limited (little or no reasoning) to the authors post.
Points will be DEDUCTED for grammatical errors, punctuation, capitalization, etc. The discussion boards need to be written AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL.
