Students will select either a current or historical journal article that describes an intervention that addresses a nutrition topic of concern to them. In a 1-2 page paper, students will outline the problem (example: the prevalence of childhood obesity is about 20%), discuss the intervention (implementation of an afterschool exercise program), describe the outcome of the intervention (students in the exercise group did not gain weight as much as the control group of students) and conclude with their own thoughts about the article. A working link to the article will be provided which will be cited in APA format.
