Write your film’s opening scenes (max 3 pages). Ideally, this is one scene
Refer on Sequences, Scenes and Beats
Identify at least two beats in each scene (beats = points of dramatic action that occur within a story)
Identify the stakes of each scene (stakes = what does your character want in this scene? what happens if they don’t get it? why now?)
In addition to highlighting the two-story beats and the stakes in your written submission.
