Research four recent death penalty cases within the United States that have been

succurely

Research four recent death penalty cases within the United States that have been overturned. Summarize each case, provide examples of the evidence used to prosecute and convict the person, and explain what evidence was used to overturn the conviction.
In doing this, you will be creating an argument using inductive reasoning. You will gather as much information from each case and look at all of the similarities. Using the similar evidence among the four cases will lead you to come to a probable conclusion about why and how people are wrongfully convicted for capital crimes and sentenced to death.
For example, you might find that all of the people who you researched were convicted based on faulty eye-witness testimony, leading you to the conclusion that eye-witness testimony is not credible evidence.
Or you may also find that all of the persons you researched and who were convicted were people of color, leading you to conclude that race plays a major role in the conviction of people.
Do not overthink this assignment. Begin simply by summarizing each case and explaining all of the evidence. Once you have done this for all four cases, write a conclusion in which you state your thesis. Remember that your thesis will be informed by all of the evidence that is similar in all four cases. Thus you will not begin this essay with an introduction with a thesis. In this essay you will work backwards, or without a conclusion; you will simply begin with your research, and you will end with what you found through your research. That is to say, if you find that in all four of your cases all of the persons convicted were of low-economic backgrounds, then your thesis will look something like this: After looking at all of the evidence and circumstances in all four of these cases, one can conclude that most people who are given the death penalty come from poor communities.
Your conclusion is only a probability, which is why I use the word “most” instead of “all” in the example thesis above. Also, you can come to more than one conclusion through your research. If that is the case, please add it to your these.
