Introduction
Considering the larger parts to drive or raise profile with the increased marketing, there are subscription related revenue with the UK based Digital Delivery Magazine (DDM). It is for the approval of business case to deliver and then work on international conference management. The impact is about how COVID 19 works over the different times when it is impeded through the ability of organization to facilitate on the face to face conferences. The virtual conferences have been about the new normal behaviour with the project business case. The DDM project holds the recognition and the opportunity for the COVID 19 travel constraints with the per part and the virtual standards for the hybrid part face-to-face DDM conference.
Aim
The aim is about the critical analysis of the project management methodology with the successful delivery of project manager to understand about different approaches to meet the stakeholder expectations, donors, and the other beneficiaries.
Objective
The critical evolution and utilization is defined for the methodology which is a major goal and objective where:
- The proper methodology or the plan is needed for the raising of the profile and increase the marketing and subscription related revenue of DDM.
- Working on the effective creative approach to enhance values and performance related to activities of DDM conference.
Analysis
Critical Appreciation of Project Management Methodology
The project needs to be on the fancy way to explain about how the system is running with identification of the right tools too. The reduced risks and the increased chance for success is through initiating the projects and then working on considering the instances with preference of project manager for methodology. There are right teams which are going to work and then clear clarification on how the project needs to run (Thesing et al., 2021).
For DDM, the virtual conferences are for the new normal with the project business case that comes in recognition to the factors that COVID 19 travel constraints are relaxed too. The DDM is for the conference with differentiating oneself on the competitive level. The methods are defined for different methodologies which include:
- Prince 2 (Project Management in Controlled Environment) which follows to the different 7 principles, themes and procedures. It is for targeting the objectives of project with larger projects like the government to be found as per the methodology chosen.
- Agile: Working on the principles that requires the detailed documentation and planning for the project. It is about the suitability for the non-software projects for evaluating on the faster paced production. The DDM is for the approval of business case to deliver on the impeded ability for organization to handle the conferences and then work on the new normal. The recognition is for the fact that COVID 19 travel constraints are relaxed with the DDM identified to be the opportunity for delivery of the hybrid and Digital Management conference with differentiating from competitive standards as well.
- PMBOK: The book of project management needs to handle the guidelines with the terminology and practices. It comprises of the digestible guidelines and terminology with other best practices that are released for the project managers. The methodology is about giving the opportunity for the members of the team to stay on the same page and then work on the development of a positive environment which can be delivered on an improved rate and consistent manner for DDM.
The comprehensive approach is for the analysis for the PMBOK, Agile and Prince 2 which is the project management diagnostic tool for the showing of methodology to support project. The identified approaches are related to the different project management diagnostic tools for showing the methodology to support project. Not only this, there are risks management, cost and time management with stakeholder management techniques (Andrei et al., 2019).
Discussion
Project Management Methodology
The methodology can be considered effective for the guiding of principles which are related to define about the performance to the closure. The methodology is based on initiating the projects with considering instances that are for the preference of project manager for methodology. The models include PMBOK to understand about the well documented method. The life cycle of the project management can easily deal with PMBOK. The project includes the detail of Agile methodology where the DDM is used for running the business in a smoother manner. The initiation and planning is as per the work done and the rigid framework is for the building and creating of project for the respected duration time (Thummadi et al., 2020). The relocating process is for the high attention with producing document on the well-established way where PMBOK is valued more.
Specific Features and methodology of Agile
The framework is for the rules, guidelines that are related to achieve on professional excellence. Some of the factors include interactions with attributes that are:
- Defining: The formal approval of the project is for assigning the project manager with the process to start project. The identification of stakeholders includes the reaching of extent level of participation and expectation which is a crucial role to entail the project. The authorised project mandates are for the clients which require the identification of key deliverables with vision accomplished. The major shareholders for the DDM needs to work on the International Digital Management Conference that involves the online commerce and customer service, with the data analytics and the reporting. The understanding is about the key inventors working on identification of business.
- Designing: The designing is about the roadmap of project life cycle. It is about the enabling of project manager for achieving objectives with pre-determined approach on the budget, time and scope of project. The work break down structure and communication plan with stakeholder management to ensure about the qualitative and quantitative risks management. The designing is for understanding the set of milestones with the accomplishment of objectives for project. The DDM is for the differentiation from the competitive standards with the identification n the recognition that there are certain constraints of COVID 19 travel as well (Beerbaum, 2021).
- Building: The building is on the less documentation work and then focusing on the skills which are for the more cross-functional activities. The team works on the opportunities to explore the project knowledge. The focus is on the needs of business and then proper delivery in time. Not only this, there are building of incremental standards from the foundation of firm to develop the iterative parts. There are factors related to work on the sharping of leadership skills with recruiting the new and existing team for getting the work done.
- Testing: The monitoring is through corrective actions with the tracking on the variances of project processes. For DDM, there are determined approaches for the allocation of budget and other primary activities based on the requirements, design and the building of preparation or testing methods. The project timescale is for the fixed analysis that leads to commencing on the conference with the target to be running over the time of 3 days. The objective is for the DDM to ensure about the data analytics and the monitoring process to ensure about allowing update planning, modification of the activities of team and then getting the things settled too.
- Releasing: The project needs a corrective action with life cycle of project for the unexpected coming up to process. It allows to update the planning and the modification for the activities of team. It comes with the tackling of the business process with the overall project that leads to the delivery which is errorless. Not only this, there are factors for the knowledge areas that are for the talent triangle with encircling the strategy for the victorious project managers (Fernandes et al., 2018).
Recommended approach/methodology would support project (AGILE METHODOLOGY)
The client also needs to work on the advantage of methodology for improved operations and productivity to deliver the project in time and budget too. The project governance is for the use of project sponsors and stakeholders to look for the project as one of the single entities. The cost, communication and the overhead time is for the defining on complexity with PMBOK model that results in the complex and costly format for the smaller projects. The contract management of project management with Agile methods not including the contract and management of people.
The approach is for the risks management identified risks with the aspects of plan or project environment which might change. The potential effects are for determining the risks with considering the aspects related to not only working but also envisioning about the monitoring of status with project risks. It leads to differentiating from the competitive standards. The focus is on the communication plan and the work break down structure which is effective for the project to follow the valid path for the organizing of the structure and then standardizing it on the continuous improvement process.
Identify any anticipated issues with using the approach/methodology for the project
For the project management, Agile is used. The issues are related to the building collaboration for the clients and user. It is for handling the changes based on incremental and evolutionary changes, with effective support from the change of culture. We have selected the Agile Methodology. The Agile is for decision making as the feedback loops are for saving money and reinvesting or realizing the quick wins. Not only this, but there is also a breaking down of the larger projects which are for the small sub projects that leads to focus on the specific goals. The advantages for the agile technology are that it delivers the project in the time of 3 weeks with the performance of tasks which is one of the time boxing concepts. The flexibility is in planning and designing processes along with estimating about the costs that focus on deliverables within the costs. The need is for the cost control and then not documenting by the team. Agile is for the enrichment with the tools like the scrum boards and then there are product backlog and value chain models. Agile has lesser documentation work with the more focus on development to perform cross functional activities. The team has different opportunities to work on exploring the project knowledge and focus on the needs of business (MKoba et al., 2020). The delivery of the product on time and the cross functional or the self-sustained team works on building the incremental firm foundation.
Solution: Hence, for this, Agile methodology can lead to the development of iterative processes with continuous and clear or faster delivery and the decision-making process with collaboration too. PMBOK advantages are for the sole decision makers with providing the guidance and knowledge to complete the process for managing project. The guidance is for the organized process groups and the knowledge areas which are specific to the aspects of project with procurement and quality development or other interpersonal skills. The risks are related to the focused sprint level that is for the delivery and then focus on the final product which is irrespective to the benefits even. Not only this, but one also needs to understand how decision making ensures consistent approach where the business-driven factors are for greater control on plan by the regular reviews and then working on the scrutiny of the costs and benefits in every stage. It outputs the measurable approaches by the outweighed benefits. The well-defined roles and responsibilities are for the multiple stakeholders to understand the change of control as well.
Justification and Analysis
The project management objective is related to the core expectations where the location and venue is as per the needs to comfortably accommodate the paying for the guests who are 500 with the larger theatre or the lecture rooms which are needed for the breakout and then there is exhibition floor or the cafeteria (Adelakun et al., 2021). PMBOK is for the sole decision making with providing the guidance and knowledge on project management with step-by-step processes on managing project and the other knowledge areas which are for listing on the tools and techniques. The specific processes are defined with the aspects of project that relates to procurement and quality development. The leadership standards tend to work on the skills of interpersonal standards as well. The analysis is for the DDM where the cybersecurity standards are for the agility and the suitability in the instances for evaluating and assisting to manage the closure of projects.
The location is for the venue capacity needs to comfortably accommodate the paying guests with the larger theatres. It comes with the lecture rooms that are needed for the breakout and then there are exhibition floors and cafes too. There are 200 virtual attendees who are anticipated as well. The online commerce and the customer services are for the simple approaches with the product ownership and the scrum master that is the project facilitator to clear on the uncertainties or the blocks of the road. The sprint is for the duration of product delivery which is for not more than the time of 3-4 weeks.
Conclusion
The project is expected to commence in April 2022 with the conference that targets to run mainly over three days in October 2022. It is about the data analytics and reporting with online commerce and the service of customer. The risks management is for identifying the possible risks to evaluate on the consequences. It comes with not eliminating the risks of project but also to work on different risks for the project. The development of plans are defined with the mitigation of the effects and then decide about protecting the project from the risks consequences. It is for monitoring the project risks status and the performance which is for the existing risks as well.
