Task #4 Prompt:
This week we are writing Section 7: Research Questions Section of your critical assignment. The background and significance help explain the content of your study’s proposal and why it is important. See the description of this assignment below for your critical assignment. Then to complete this week’s task, answer the following questions in APA format and it should be at least 2 pages in length.
CRITICAL ASSIGNMENT PROMPT – Section 7: Research Questions and Analytical Strategy (THIS IS FOR YOUR REVIEW ONLY): This section will introduce your two research questions. You should provide a rationale for your research questions. The rationale should be about 2 paragraphs or more. In addition, provide an analytical strategy for your analysis of the artifact. Explain your strategy and use concepts from Chapter 5 of the course text to develop your strategy.
Task #4 Questions (ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS THIS WEEK):
1) Create FIVE potential research questions for your case study research proposal.
You will select two of the five research questions for your final critical assignment. Each research question should pose a communication-related question that you want to answer in your capstone project or through your critical assignment in this course.
For this assignment, list your research question in BOLD font and then provide a justification for the research question directly below the bolded research question.
Provide justification for each question and it should be at least two paragraphs for EACH RQ. The professor will help you narrow down your list from five questions to two questions. Your justification should explain how the question relates to the topic, artifact, case study design and type, and analytical strategy for your paper.
2) Create an analytical strategy for your case study research proposal. We will not analyze the case study artifact, but we will develop our strategy for the proposal.
Create your analytical strategy using information from Ch. 5 of the Li text.
Explain and justify your strategy for your artifact and discuss which of the five analytical strategies you will use and why.
Discuss the four general strategies for an analytical strategy for case study research. Share which ones you like and plan to use in your paper.
Make sure your analytical strategy will help address a gap in communication research and answer your research questions.
