a) You need to select a minimum of 5research reports from the literature search that was conducted to justify the PICOT question. One research report must be from a nursing peer-reviewed journal.

b) Next analyze all 5 or more articles. You need to pay attention to how the research question, purpose, methodology, results, discussion and conclusion of the paper and how these support the research question. Add your knowledge about research to it and how this affects nursing practice. Last, write a short paper (6-9 pages in total). Include a complete citation using APA-7 (intext citations of each and reference pge) for each article you reviewed.

Each student must prepare a literature review in relation to the PICOT. This is an opportunity to read as a scholar and develop competence in analyzing the key elements of a research article. The student should select five primary research studies from the literature search that was conducted – each study must have been published in a peer-reviewed journal within the last 5-8 years with at least one study published in a nursing journal. Next, analyze and appraise the merits of each manuscript. Then, synthesize the findings to compare the studies and determine the strength of the evidence to answer your PICOT question.
