Learning Goal: I’m working on a networking project and need the explanation and answer to help me learn.
Design a medium-sized business network in Packet Tracer with the following requirements:
1. The topology should have at least 2 branches, with a minimum of 2 departments in each branch. (Sample topology is given below)
2. Design an IP addressing scheme using subnetting / VLSM.
For each department:
1. Configure VLANs and Inter VLAN Routing.
2. Configure a loop-free redundant network with more bandwidth using STP and EtherChannel.
3. Configure the router to provide DHCP services to the end devices in the network
4. Configure wireless LAN with WPA2 authentication
5. Configure a secure LAN network to mitigate all types of layer 2 attacks
6. Configure static route between branches and default route to ISP.
7. Verify your network connectivity between the branches. All end devices should be able to ping each other. Provide screenshots on the Microsoft document.
