OBJECTIVE
In this discussion, your objective is to:
Demonstrate understanding of the function and use of the Internet for research, and the validation of reliable Internet information sources

QUESTIONS
With the abundance of web pages, Wiki, blogs, and other sources presented when using search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing, how should you ensure that the articles and sources of information are suitable for your professional and academic writing?
Describe the specific criteria you would use to evaluate the credibility of critical or profession-specific sources in areas such as health care. Hint: important characteristics for Evaluating Websites are listed in the “Using the Web Effectively” chapter
For each type of criteria, explain how you would use it when validating a source. Provide examples of what you would consider to be credible vs. questionable and how you determined it.
Provide functioning links (URLs) to at least 5 examples of reliable profession-specific information sources that you might use in your research.
