Instructions
There are 2 questions your will answer for each report and the total point you can receive from each report is 5 points. Each report should be between half a page and one page (double-spaced). See the questions and the grade distribution below:
What is the main idea of the text? (Or: What is the general concern of the text? Or: What does the author aim to convey in the text?) (2 points)
Grading: 1- Your answer should be around 5-6 sentences. If you complete this requirement, you will receive 1 point. 2-If your answer is correct and you were able to explain it well, you will receive another 1 point. If your answer is wrong, too vague, or only addresses a side issue, which is not the main idea of the text, you will not receive the point.
Please select a quote from the text that you find important or interesting and explain it in a way that addresses what the author means by it and that clarifies why you find it interesting or important.
Grading: 1- You will receive 1 point if you have the quotation (with the name of the text and the page number in brackets). 2- You will receive another 1 point if you explain the quotation. 3- Lastly, you will gain 1 point, if your explanation is correct and clarifies why it is important/interesting.
