Instructions: Develop a formal voiceover/recorded PowerPoint (PPT) presentation based on the epidemiologic approach to describe an acute or chronic disease health problem (Breast Cancer). The PowerPoint presentation will enhance class’ understanding of the selected disease. The PPT presentation will be recorded by the student and then posted in Folio discussion. The time allotment for the presentation will be about 20 minutes. Save PPT presentation file as: Student Last Name-Disease Name. Do not convert to a pdf.
APA Requirements: Students will be required to utilize correct 7th edition American Psychological Association (APA) format throughout the entire slide presentation. If you can’t maintain APA format for the references on the PPT, you may submit a separate MSWord APA reference document.
The literature selected should include primary sources (written as original research or as a paper). Half (5) of the references must come from peer reviewed journals and the rest may come from books and acceptable web sources (Center for Disease Prevention and Control [CDC], Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Reports [MMWR], National Institute of Health [NIH] e.g.).
