You will need to watch the 1983 film Yentl in its entirety and then by, complete a project about both the topic of the film, the film itself, the meaning behind the making of this film and why it is or isn’t a pivotal moment in Gender and American Film. More info on the criteria for success for this project is posted on the course modules. You will have the choice of writing a 3-5 page, double spaced (12 pt font) formal written response paper or write to me to suggest another creative form of response for approval. This could be a 30 min “podcast,” a recorded slide presentation,” anything that you find speaks to you!
