“Classical Problems of Integer Optimisation”

Your task is to write a report about one of the “Classical Problems of Integer Optimisation”. We deem a problem “classical” if it was first posed before 2000 and/or, it was referred to in a textbook and/or, it was graced by a Wikipedia article. Some of them we have covered in class (for example the Travelling

Salesmen Problem – (https://blog.routific.com/travelling-salesman-problem) or the Knapsack Problem – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knapsack_problem). You can freely choose the problem.

The report of a maximum of 4 pages has to follow standard style guides for scientific writing and the IEEE format as outlined in
https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

To write the report, you have to perform the research as outlined in section 1
The deliverables are (the final report, the Jupyter Notebook files covering Appendices A-C and any additional files required)
