Creation of Groups: “Elements, Structure, Status”
Students will “hypothetically create a group” with all the characteristics and elements discussed in class. This is a longitudinal assignment, meaning it will be expanded as new elements of study are introduced throughout the course.
For this module, each student will write a document that includes:
- Their own definition of their “group” in their own words
- What, according to their criteria, are the characteristics of their group
- How the group develops
- What type of group it is
- How the group functions
- Structural Variables:
- Goals
- Rules
- Type of leadership the created group has
Contribute a minimum of 2 pages. It should include at least 2 academic sources, formatted and cited in APA.
