Grade is based on providing the correct answer to the assigned question, proper references (published, peer reviewed research articles from scholarly journals no older than 5 years) & properly cited, appearance of PowerPoint presentation, and ability to answer questions/foster discussion.
Slide #1 Title/Date/Course and Presenters
Every subsequent slide must include the citation(s) where indicated at the bottom of the slide- AMA format. Example: Spurlock AY, Johnson TW, Pritchett A, et al. Blenderized food tube feeding in patients with head and neck cancer. Nutrition in Clinical Practice. 2022; 37: 615– 624. Conclusion/consensus statement/areas slide(s) for further research/gaps in literature that need to be addressed, etc. The presentation should not exceed 10-15 minutes.

Standardize position, colors, and styles.
Include only necessary information – this means bullet points. Do not cut and paste large sections of text.
Limit the information to essentials.
Content should be self-evident.
Use colors that contrast and compliment.
Too may slides can lose your audience.
Keep the background consistent and subtle.
DO NOT READ long sections of text during your presentation. Explain the bullet points on your slide in your own words
Be prepared to answer questions from classmates and the instructor.
My assigned question was : Several large reviews have determined that many pregnant women take multiple prescription medications during pregnancy. Read this article. Briefly explain body system changes during pregnancy AND how those changes might impact pregnancy outcomes. Next, prepare a list of prescription AND over-the-counter medications that are CONTRAINDICATED during pregnancy.
