For this assignment you may use information drawn only from lecture material; from material contained in the newspaper article listed as “immigration seekers at southwestern US border” , as well as from chapters 1 and 2 of David Miller’s National Responsibility and Global Justice. In answering the questions below, your total response should be approximately 4-5 double-spaced pages long. Citations and paraphrases from Miller that you include in your answer should be simply followed by the name Miller and a page number or a Kindle location from the part of the text that you are relying on – the name and the number to be included in parentheses at the end of your quotation or paraphrase. Citations and paraphrases from the newspaper article should be followed the abbreviation NYT (standing for New York Times, which is the source of the article) – this, too, in parentheses.
