For this assignment teacher candidates will use student data, high quality instructional materials, and standards to plan PK-5 student learning to create 3 sequencing lesson plans. Teacher Candidates will incorporate instructional practices that will enable student mastery into the plan for PK-5 student learning. Candidates will:
● Identify a sequence of phonological awareness lessons and where these lessons fall within the phonological continuum (use local district resources)
● Include connection to phonological awareness standards
Include student specific scaffolds and anticipated responses that help with making instructional decisions.
Directions:
Teacher candidates will use the resources and activities found in the module materials folder to develop three sequencing phonological awareness lesson plans. Please use the Madeline hunter template found in the module materials folder ONLY for your lesson plan submission. When developing your lesson plans, please make sure to only utilize the phonological awareness standards for the appropriate grade level. Any other standards used will result in a deduction of points. There should be a lesson plan for each resource uploaded. Please review the rubric for this assignment found in the syllabus as a guided resource.
