Instructions:
The final project consists of you preparing a PowerPoint presentation related to one of the 14 topics in Chapters’13, 24, 27, 29, 31, 32, 34, 37, 38, 78, 86, 87, 89 or 91.
I’d like you to be the “speaker” and you are presenting the information that interests you as a presentation to a particular group. It could be that you want to present your findings (the topic) to young teen girls, child bearing women, aging families, those needing home health or Hospice or whatever subject (out of the 8 topics listed above). You will present information from what you learned from the readings along with at least 2 or 3 current references (preferably evidence based literature). You are educating others and arming them with information that is revilement, current and the resources to help them or those within their community. The guidelines for the project are also here along with the grading rubric.
Please have the grading rubric in front of you while you are preparing your PowerPoint presentation so that I can give you the points you deserve. Have fun, be creative, put in graphs, tables, clip art, photos and whatever it takes to keep your targeted audiences’ attention. The imaginative and colorful presentation is almost as important as the content. If it is boring, grey or black and white, your audience won’t pay attention.
