Final Paper:
This will be a 5-7 page paper; it will double spaced, 12pt font in Times New Roman or another standard font. In this paper you will take your first paper and any of your inductive arguments from a discussion forum. You will be making them into one paper. You may also write a new paper or only use the deductive argument paper and not the inductive post or inversely.
The paper:
You will defend a position related to your research topic. Use at least one deductive form and at least one inductive form. You MUST state which forms you are using. You are required to consider at least TWO arguments AGAINST your position. You will defend against these attacks. You must also show how at least one of the attacks is fallacious. Identify the fallacy and demonstrate that the attack fails because of the wayward use or reasoning. In this paper, you will write a formal introduction. The introduction has the catch, introductory statement, a road map, and a thesis. The thesis can be in the road map, before it, or after it. The introduction should not be long. It should be very short – just a few sentences. See the into handout on the course page.
