Explain the difference between pluralism, authoritarianism, and totalitarianism (totalitarian regime) (see the textbook for definitions). What does each of these governments look like? What kind of society does each create in terms of freedom, tolerance, and economic prosperity? Which is the most progressive, which the most conservative? Using this terminology, how would you describe government and society in the USA? Has it changed since the last election? Make sure you give many examples and demonstrate that you understand each term.
