The purpose of this assignment is to develop Part I of a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) project manuscript following the Journal Author Guidelines. This section should clearly describe the problem, provide background knowledge, explain the rationale, state the specific aims, and outline the methodology.

Title and Abstract (2 points)
o Provide a title that clearly indicates the manuscript is about a healthcare improvement initiative.
o Write an abstract summarizing the key sections of the paper, including:

Local Problem
Methods
Interventions
Results
Conclusions
Introduction (5 points)
o Problem Description: Clearly describe the nature and significance of the identified problem.
o Available Knowledge: Provide a concise summary of what is known about the problem, including previous research and relevant studies.
o Rationale: Explain any theories, models, frameworks, or assumptions that justify the intervention.
o Specific Aims: Clearly state the purpose of the project and what the manuscript intends to accomplish.

o Context (2 points): Describe the setting and any factors influencing the intervention’s implementation.
o Intervention (2 points): Detail the intervention(s) in a way that allows replication, including the team involved.

Measures and Analysis (4 points)
o Measures (2 points): Define the process and outcome measures, their rationale, and validity/reliability.
o Analysis (2 points): Outline the qualitative and quantitative methods used to interpret data, including an approach to understanding variation.
Ethical Considerations (1 points)
