Define the community for which you will be conducting the needs assessment (population, place, location, agencies, etc.). Conduct a needs assessment for this community using available information.
Identify assets that could be used for your needs assessment.
Develop an action plan for incorporating your results from the needs assessment.
Identify any ethical considerations or barriers you might think you will encounter (values, attitudes, mistrust, beliefs, etc.).
