Choose a disorder that is specific to neonates or pediatric patients
1. Prepare a PowerPoint presentation that presents the disorder, the diagnostic testing and treatment plans.
2. Be sure to consider, but not limit your information to at least 1 slide for the following:
Potential risk factors
Testing and results specific to the disorder
Treatments including pharmacology and respiratory support
Complications and prognosis
Maintenance and long-term management
Patient and family resources
3. Use at least 4-6 slides at the end of your presentation to present a short Case Study that highlights the specifics of your chosen disorder.
4. If you are so inclined, feel free to be creative here. Pictures, animations, graphics, videos or interactive slides can be fun and keep your audience engaged. You may also include important information in the Notes section for the slide.
5. Your presentation should APA formatted (including pictures) and referenced as required.
