Your task is to write a report to the CEO of Air New Zealand. Using the Business Model Canvas conduct an analysis of Air New Zealand’s current value proposition – as it is today, arguably at the ‘end’ (we hope) of Government intervention’s due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Identify opportunities to enhance the value proposition with the aim of returning Air New Zealand to profitability.

Length: The text should be no longer than 1750 words (excluding references). The word limit is not a target, the report could be shorter than that. You may also find that you need to go over the word limit. That too is ok. However, do not simply pad out the report in an attempt to reach 1750 words. The report should include two appendices: Air New Zealand’s current business model canvas and your improved/enhanced business model canvas.

We expect that between some six or so relevant references (beyond the case material) are utilised to support and justify your claims and arguments (including Liedtka’s or Osterwalder and Pigneur’s frameworks). If you use resources arbitrarily, with very limited engagement, then your mark will certainly be less.
