Eat Well Pte Ltd (EW) was founded by Mr. Sim Hee Ha in 2005. Mr. Sim, a trained chef, recognized the gap in specialized catered meals for Singaporean families. EW has several product lines including Mr. Sim’s pet project, Get Well (GW) meals, specializing in ready-to-eat convalescent meals. He sources choice ingredients from all over the world, plans and prepares meals suitable for convalescing adults, and sells them at supermarkets all over Asia.

GW currently has 20 main meals ranging from chicken porridge and double-boiled chicken soup to nasi lemak and pasta. They are priced at full product cost, plus a markup of 25%. However, the selling prices of certain products can be adjusted due to market competition or the popularity of the products.

In addition to producing convalescent meals, EW has established a subsidiary, Swell Pte Ltd (Swell), that customizes cakes and sweets for people with special dietary needs. Mr. Sim’s nephew, Sam Sim, a pastry chef and baker from Le Cordon Rouge has been credited for growing and expanding the range of cakes and pastries.
