At the beginning of the class I asked you what you thought of the Pacific Island
At the beginning of the class I asked you what you thought of the Pacific Islands, or what you knew about the Pacific Islands. Now that we are at the end of the semester I want to circle back to that question and give you an opportunity to answer again with what you know now.
What do you think of when you think of the Pacific Islands, and the people who live there/here?
Some thoughts to consider (you do not have to answer any/all of these, this is just for guidance):
1. Do you have a better understanding of the diversity within the Pacific Islands and the challenges Pacific Islanders face in the 21st century?
2. Do you have a different perspective about living in Hawai’i, or Hawai’i’s role in the Pacific Islands?
3. Where do you think Pacific Islanders are headed (in the abstract or literal sense)?
4. What will be your biggest takeaway from this class…what do you think you will remember after the class is over?
