The term “Big Data” (BD) is used to describe the 21st century’s technological achievement in gathering, storing, and using enormous amounts of data. For this mastery assignment, you are to research and analyze the risk impacts Big Data is projected to have.
Prepare a paper of at least 2,000 words that addresses the following:
1. Create a PEST analysis of how Big Data is going to impact your career and vocational field. Include in your reporting all four elements with a particular focus on the intermediate (2-5 years) and the longer time frame (5-10 years) Include external references to support your conclusions.
2. Create a 7S analysis of how your organization/company is going to engage Big Data. Analyze each of the seven areas with a particular focus on how the risk is going to be addressed for each.
3. What type of changes are needed? Will it require new types of personnel ie data scientist?, chief data ethics officer?, etc…What type of capital requirement will there be?
