Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to familiarize you with the various components of a qualitative research study and methodology.

Instructions: For this discussion, please complete the following:

1. Go to the FIU library and find a qualitative research article. The article should be published in a nursing journal with the last 5 years. The article should not include quantitative or mixed methods. Selecting the right article is imperative as it will be part of your grade.

1. Review the article thoroughly while reflecting on your reading from Polit and Beck (2017).
2. Complete the Qualitative Journal Club Template in a Word document, located in the Week 8 resources.
3. At the top of the template provide an APA 7th edition citation for the article.
4. Follow the APA citation with a brief review of the purpose of the article: i.e., between 2 and 4 sentences.
5. Answer all of the questions on the template.
6. COPY and PASTE the content from the word document into the discussion board. Do Not Attach The Word Document to the discussion board. Post your initial journal club entry no later than Thursday by 11:59 pm.
7. Post a response to ONE peer, providing a discussion of the article that was selected by your peer. Post your response by Sunday by 11:59 pm.
