Assignment Instructions
You will complete several steps you build your speech. This week you will tackle the first step: brainstorming. For this assignment, consider what you would like to inform an audience about.
You may choose any topic that interests you. Be sure that it’s strictly informative. Think of it as educating your audience.
Once you have selected your topic, explore various points you wish to research and share. The intent is to teach your audience about something with no bias; just the facts.
You will submit a SHORT document (does NOT have to be 5 paragraphs this week) that lists your chosen topic and three (3) points you may want to discuss in your speech. The organization of your points is not relevant at this point.
Select at least two (2) credible sources to support your idea. These may change as you develop the speech in the coming weeks. Do not use blogs, Wikipedia or social media.
