There are many differences between the developing and developed worlds, and nowhere is this more clearly illustrated than with disease and health care. When good solutions are cheap and easy, and/or are seen as “third world solutions” and therefore dismissed, are we making cure or recovery more difficult than it needs to be?
Create the “ideal” disease (from a disease perceptive!) that will cause a global epidemic or pandemic. How is it spread? What is its mortality rate? What are the symptoms?
