There are two assessment components to this module

1. A podcast (10 minutes) for taught and distance learning students focusing on an aspect of practice or provision that the student has chosen to develop outlining the potential for supporting children5 learning and development.

2. An essay discussing pedagogy and curriculum in the early years. (60%) 3.500 words. This assignment is submitted toward the end of the module.
