Create an Evidence-Based Social Media Campaign

Based on your topic and research from Parts 1 and 2, design a campaign to raise awareness and encourage behavior change.

Create a Visual Campaign Piece:
Design an infographic, poster, or video.
Use tools like Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint, or another creative platform.
This is not a written paper or a traditional PowerPoint presentation (You can use PowerPoint to create a poster)
Think of a visual that grabs attention and is suitable for social media.
This is a SINGLE PAGE submission.
Accessibility & Audience:
Ensure your content is appropriate for a general audience.
Follow accessibility standards (e.g., clear text, high contrast, readable fonts).
Campaign Guidelines
Your campaign should:
Create awareness and interest
Aim to change attitudes or conditions
Motivate behavior change
Empower people to act
Include the following elements:
Target Population: Identify your stakeholders.
Community Assessment: Gather demographics (used in your Reflection Paper, not included in the visual).
Evidence-Based Content: Cite sources using APA guidelines appropriate for your format.
Advocacy & Messaging: Incorporate public health messaging and culturally relevant strategies.
Submission
Submit a final copy of your Social Media Campaign to the designated Dropbox.
Include a separate page listing your resources.
Tips & Reminders
APA Formatting (for Written Work):

Title page required, no abstract or table of contents.
Use hanging indents and hyperlinked DOIs for references.
Align all in-text citations with the reference list.
Include DOIs for journal articles and ensure they are hyperlinked correctly
Include a screen shot of your journal articles.
Avoid direct quotes; paraphrase and synthesize in your own words
References go on a separate page at the end, or submit on a separate page for video submissions
Source Selection:

Avoid general web sources (Wikipedia, commercial blogs, etc.).
Verify all citation details; do not rely solely on citation generators.
