You will write a reflection that includes the following information:
Workshop Facilitation:
You will facilitate the workshop with the support of your on-site placement supervisor and then summarize in a reflection the following:
a. Provide a detailed account of the workshop’s implementation, including any adjustments made in response to participant dynamics. Explain what worked and what did not. Discuss the participation of the group. Where appropriate include images and examples (like artifacts) that demonstrate what you did.
b. Reflect on your role as a child and youth worker during the workshop. This may include where you had to change something, address something, address behaviour, etc.
Participant Evaluation:
a. Create a post-workshop questionnaire survey to solicit feedback on the workshop experience, the learning of the participants, and any open-ended feedback the participants would like to give. Include this as an appendix in your submission.
b. Analyze participant evaluations of the workshop’s effectiveness and relevance.
c. Reflect on lessons learned and potential improvements for future workshops.
