PowerPoint: Importing Excel Charts
Please Note: This session builds on, and assumes that you have completed, the previous PowerPoint sessions. If that is not the case, please go back and complete them before returning to this session.
STEP 1: Inserting an Excel Chart (directly)
The simplest technique is to open up the Excel file, highlight the existing chart you want by clicking on it so that the ‘circles’ appear on it:
Then press CONTROL + C to take a copy of the chart.
Open up PowerPoint (if not already open) and go to the appropriate slide in PowerPoint where you want to insert this chart.
Then press CONTROL + V to paste the chart into the slide.
Inserted chart.
