This Paper is based on the Cairo exhibit in NYC. Since you can’t go to the exhibit you can look through their website and choose 2 pieces of architecture to write about. Write an opinion piece about how the city of Cairo is portrayed to western audiences and what you thought about the exhibit and the architecture you wrote about. Do not give an in-depth summary of the city and its history that is not the goal of the paper you can briefly mention it but do not make it the bulk of the paper. You can go into the dept about the creator of the exhibit and how the exhibit portrays the city of Cairo to western audiences (make this a big part of your paper). You can also link the architecture to Orientalism or Colonialism in the middle east and Europe.
