Your assignment must not exceed four pages. It must be double-spaced, paginated, and with standard font size and margins (such as New Times Roman 12-point font).

For examples, use class readings and discussion. Do not use outside material. Provide a list of references with the articles you have used.
Do not use direct quotations or, if you must, do so minimally. I want YOU to write the assignment. This is especially important in a short assignment.
GUIDANCE
I am looking to see that you have a basic understanding of these important ideas and have a handle on the readings and overall conversation in the course.
I expect your essay to be organized and coherent and free of typographical and editorial errors.
There should be a good fit between the topic you choose the sources/examples you use to support it. I am looking for a thoughtful essay that includes an accurate understanding of concepts and that integrates well-chosen readings and examples.
