Film is as much an experience now as it is about the stories. Theaters and producers have spent millions of dollars to entice you to a movie only to follow-up with having you purchase that movie for personal consumption after its original, theatrical run.
In this writing assignment, you will examine how theater-going experiences have changed over generations.
Instructions
Answer the following questions from this week’s reading and module information. Remember to answer each question completely, and support with sources if necessary. Proper college-level writing is expected. Proof-read for proper mechanics and grammar.
Do some research (i.e. talk to some people: grandparents/parents), and compare your earliest memory of going to a movie with a parent’s or grandparent’s earliest memory. Compare and contrast the different experiences.
Do you remember seeing a movie that you were not allowed to see? Share the experience.
