Compare and contrast a minimum of three theoretical models of decision-making mentioned in the textbook or module resources (e.g., Rational Model, Administrative Model, etc.). Describe the main elements of each theoretical model, as well as what you perceive to be its strengths and weaknesses. Conclude the essay with a paragraph about which model of decision-making you would rely on the most if you were the manager of a public agency, and be sure to explain why you find that theory to be the best option.
Essays should be 2-3 pages, double-spaced, using 12-point Times New Roman and 1-inch margins. Please submit your essay as a .doc or .docx file.
Be sure to cite any sources used for your paper when you paraphrase or use direct quotations. You may wish to do some additional research about these theoretical models, but any additional sources should be academic, not websites like Wikipedia. A proper in-text citation will include the author’s name(s), the year the text was published, and the page number the information being cited appears on. An example of a proper citation is below:
